A profile is a representation of a user on the social network.

## Friends
|

Friends is an aggregation of a users' connections to other users.
|

## Updates (status, photo, and link for now)
|
|
An update can either be a status (some text), a photo, or a link to a webpage.
|
|
|
|
## Stream (view updates from other users)
|
|
Stream is a place for users' to see updates from other users.
|
|
|
|
## Subscriptions & Notifications
|
|
Users can subscribe to other users by subscribing to them.
|
|
|
|
A user can get notified of updates through the use of notifications.
|
|
|
|
## Messages
|
|
Messages is a way for users to communicate with each other privately.
|
|
|
|
## Groups
|
|
Groups contain zero or more users and are related in some way.
|
